About Us

The reception at AVH Animal Ark Vet

AVH Animal Ark has been a trusted partner of pet owners, providing comprehensive and holistic veterinary care for all pets, big and small. We aim to create a minimally stressful and positive experience, building a trusting relationship between the pets, veterinary professionals and pet owners. This is in alignment with ISFM cat friendly handling techniques to ensure we uphold the highest standards of care that comes with the ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Clinic status obtained by both branches in 2024.

Our clinic has been specially designed to operate on a completely open-concept basis, allowing pet owners to be involved in the care and treatment of their beloved companions throughout their entire visit here. This also puts pets at ease knowing that their pet parents are with them every step of the way.

We are committed to providing you and your pet with the best care possible. Our team of experienced vets and vet nurses are constantly upgrading our skill sets and knowledge to keep up with technology and advancements in small animal medicine and surgery.

AVH Animal Ark is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asia Vets Holdings Ltd. which has been listed on SGX-Catalist since July 2010.

Dr Colin Chin

Dr Colin Chin graduated in Perth from Murdoch University in 2011. Interested in delivering treatment in a wide variety of circumstances, he initially worked with animal welfare organisations in Singapore and Malaysia before joining small animal practice.

His areas of interest are small animal medicine, particularly that of anaesthesia and ultrasound. This has led him to further his experience with courses in diagnostic imaging and ultrasound. Dr Colin is our anchor vet at the Tampines branch, so if you’d like to see him, please call up our Tampines clinic to book an appointment with him.

A foodie at heart, Dr Chin enjoys trying out new recipes during his free time and is also an avid Yogi

Dr Soh Liming

Dr Soh Liming

Dr Soh graduated with first class honours from the University of Sydney in 2001. Her main interests lie in holistic medicine, TCM and rehabilitation. As a certified veterinary acupuncturist and canine rehab therapist, she hopes to provide better care and improve the quality of life for her patients, especially geriatric patients and patients with mobility issues.

In her spare time, Dr Soh prefers to spend time with her own pets and family, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Dr Joyce Lauw

Dr Joyce Lauw

Dr Joyce Lauw graduated from the University of Sydney in 2013 and has been working in Singapore as a small animal veterinarian ever since. She has a wide range of interests professionally and is always looking forward to expand her veterinary knowledge and skill sets. Her main interest is in internal medicine, pocket pet medicine and she also enjoyed working in 24-hour emergency vet hospitals for several years handling emergency and critical care patients before settling down in AVH Animal Ark. She likes to work through cases systematically and sharing knowledge with owners in a way they can easily understand so that we can make the best choices for your pets together.

Dr Joyce Lauw picked up veterinary acupuncture several years ago after seeing first hand how it greatly helped her own geriatric dogs with mobility issues. She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist (CVA) and provides acupuncture treatments for dogs and cats.

Dr Joyce loves all dogs, cats and pocket pets but feels that cats are extra special, having 2 of her own. She has obtained her membership in Medicine of Cats (MANZCVS), from the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2022 and would love to help you with any feline ailments.

Dr Regina Khoo

Dr Regina Khoo

Dr. Regina is a graduate from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow. As a small animal clinician, she gravitates towards internal medicine and surgery. Having an insufferable love for animals, she believes that client compliance can only be achieved when they fully understand what their pets are going through. Through her daily work, she hopes that she would be able to support and help pet owners in their journey of pet ownership. Away from the hustle of the clinic, Dr. Regina can be found attempting her projects at the climbing gym. She also enjoys her coffee, trying new sports and spending endless hours at museums.

Dr Audrey Law

Dr Audrey Law

Dr Audrey Law graduated from the University of Queensland (Gatton) with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) degree. Prior to this degree, she completed the Veterinary Bioscience diploma at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and had valuable experience working as a veterinary nurse. Dr Audrey places a high importance on animal wellness and welfare, always ensuring that her patients can have the best experience at a clinic. She understands the anxiety and worries that come with caring for furry family members, as she has 3 adorable felines of her own. She firmly believes in involving pawrents to candidly work through cases together, such as to achieve the best treatment and outcome for all. In her spare time, Dr Audrey enjoys discovering new food spots, watching films, visiting museums and playing video games. She also values being active in the gym, running and playing recreational sports.
